First of all, the price of a cryptocurrency depends either on market or its won platform. Though steemit has over one million users but it's only 0.014% of the total population of the world. So the price of STEEM mostly depends on the market. In other words still the price of STEEM is depending on Bitcoin. Before some days , there occurred a big bitcoin crash. Almost every cryptocurrency effected by the Chash. So now a days, the price of STEEM (about all the virtual currencies) is going down. But it doesn't mean that the price of STEEM will be down forever. According to experts, there is a very bright future of Steemit. So, Keep blogging & keep Steeming.
