Even Croatia is in the European Union we still have our currency but I'm afraid not for long :P
Croatian kuna is in use since 1994. and it's name came from animal marten ( in Croatia for animat marten we say kuna) it is because marten fur had significant role in Croatian monetary and fiscal history.
