I am looking this a Banyan tree since 15 years because it is present just in front of my one relatives house. The baby Banyan is just like a normal tree but when it goes grown starts making extra layers of some branches type extra layers every where such in Stem or in other branches. Some of them goes upward and some of them hanging towards earth. Hopefully there would be some nature system applied but i can say that all extra branches or layers makes this tree attractive and stronger. I have seen 1000 of Banyan trees in my life but never saw any dry tree till now means there is no any bugs which can harm this tree. Have a look at the structure of Banyan tree one by one..
