I can recall when i used to got to work place daily and also able to recall my daily expenses whichever was as daily expenses. I was spending in traveling, lunch, tea, coffee and sncks. These were fix and regular expenses, sometimes it goes increased if need to change the mode of travel from own vehicle to rented taxi or cab.
In these pandemic days most employee are working from home and they are giving their best productivity and getting monthly fix salary as it was in normal days. I confess that there are many samll companies which has started cutting in salary such as 10% to 30% but not all companies are following this strategy at all, hence i am taling about those employee who are getting full salary and working from home have chance to save more than regular days.
As i have mentioned already in first paragraph where daily expenses were going as extra expense :
Lunch approx money required is at least $1.25 or INR 90.
Travel cost as from home to office & return $1.35 or INR 100
Tea & Snacks it is mandatory and most eployee spends at least $2 or INR 150
Travel and lunch cost for every employee are fix usually but the snack and tea coasting varies on daily basis. So if you add all daily expense in USD is $4.6 or INR 322 and if you multiply these with 30 days then it would be INR 9666 and $138. I don't think there is anything wrong.
All calculation is based on my own thoughts it could be varry as per your thoughts and expense but it is sure that the employee who are working form home in this pandemic time have chance to save more.
