The COVID-19 pandemic forced a global experiment that proved work from home (WFH) a practical and productive way of carrying out jobs. It not only transform the way work were carried out but also gives the management an alternative cost saving option. During the pandemic, many offices as well as school switched to online mode for carrying out the task. Work From Home was not new to many people as many of the high rank professional were involved in 24*7 work environment and they suppose to carry the task from home too. But the pandemic allowed the lower level staff too to enjoy this privilege. As it is usually said that task never ends and likewise to carry out the companies task many individual learn to perform their best through work from home. It proved boon to many but at the same time proved hazard to others.

Recently, one of my friend find it difficult to switch back to office environment. He was in work from home since pandemic and happily manage the office work as well as his personal things. Once the company asked him to switch back he requested for hybrid mode, where he suppose to attend the office partial days during the week. He was reluctant to join full time office. There are many people who find it hard to go back to the office full time because they lose the flexibility, free time, and comfort they built while working from home. Commuting to office add stress, office spaces create distractions, and daily routines feel restrictive after years of autonomy. The situation has made the management to think about the success of work from home. They question the practicality acceptance of the work from home for the longer run.
Setting up shop right here today.
In my opinion, Work from home will remain relevant and a permanent part of the modern job market, though it is evolving into a flexible or hybrid model rather than replacing offices entirely. Economic shifts, fuel conservation needs, and employee demand for flexibility ensure its continued adoption. I remember spending long hours on roads while commuting to office. WFH allows employees save time & money on commuting and food, while companies will be benefitted too through lower real estate and overhead expenses. The remote work adoption significantly reduces daily traffic congestion and carbon footprints from travel. However from accessing from the companies prospective there could be many cons in continuing with work from home. The major set back are for the new joiner who often find it hard to learn through watching on screen.
In my early days, the practical buddy up program helped me a lot in establishing myself among the corporate players. I understand the complete work flow process which help me career growth. Seeing the recent work from home culture I always wonder that I would never able to show my full potential in my early days. There are reason that many managers and companies are against adopting this work system. Companies often move away from work-from-home because leaders want more direct control, better team teamwork, and protection for company data. Leaders feel it is harder to check on progress or guide daily tasks through a screen. Bosses feel the shared spirit of a workplace fades out when everyone stays apart. Looking at all the aspect i may conclude that, Working from home is very feasible in the future coming days. Technology keeps getting better, making remote work easier for many jobs. However, challenges like cyber security risks, feelings of loneliness, and pressure to work all the time will grow.
In good faith - Peace!!
