At the end of the day what really matters?
All the cheer and all the clatter,
Is it a super bowl party once a year,
Or someone recovering shedding a tear.
Where do you put your priorities,
Who is important to see.
Life is precious and love fragile still,
Do you have to prove a point to have your will.
Or is compassion and love what matters most,
Or are you more concerned with offending the host.
Yesterday was it really that great?
To lose it ALL over a debate.
Life is precious and this you should know,
For the ones you love any length you would go.
