Today is the first day of the rest of your life, what are you going to do with it?
Are you going to run here and there,
Are you going to go somewhere,
Are you going to make it special,
Are you going to make it beneficial,
See it's your day and you call the shots,
What you choose to do or not,
But what we ever you do, don't let it go to waste, pondering perflexed thus you haste,
For this moment you have today will not come again,
So don't waste your blessings my friend.
Right here, right now is your time,
Don't look back later, you cannot rewind.
The first day of the rest of your life is today,
The choices you make to live laugh and play.
What exactly are you going to do?
Ultimately, it's all up to you.
