In today's post I wanted to tell you about a game that came out a long time ago and caused a lot of sensation like Rakion or WoW did at the time. I'm talking about Rune Scape, an MMORPG-style game, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game, which is marketed by Jagex, which is a company dedicated to the production of online video games in the Java language.
The history of this game is very interesting since it was at the top of the most popular game and with some recognizable twists and turns. For example, Rune Scape was recognized in August 2018 as the most popular MMORPG game in the world, at the moment, and to this day it still is, having a great rivalry for the position with WoW. It has been one of the most stable and long-lasting MMORPG-style games since it was launched in 2001 and continues to have a considerable number of active players.
Another strong point of this game is that today it has a very profitable internal and external economy without necessarily being an NFT. This is the most prominent factor in the game since many players sell gold or other game items to obtain Fiat money.
Now, as for the gameplay, it has been preserved since it began, since the game has been characterized as a click-to-play game, where you have to click to move the character and interact with things around you.
In addition, the Rune Scape map is very extensive and it is a fantasy world called Gielinor, which is divided into several kingdoms, regions, and cities. As it is an MMORPG game, you can travel on foot around the map, using teleportation spells and other mechanisms. And each region where you are you can find different types of monsters, resources, and adventures.
And another thing that I highlight about the gameplay of Rune Scape, is that it does not have a linear story that you must follow to complete the game, since the open-world concept is very well applied, and due to the high freedom that players have, they can have their own goals and objectives, fight against monsters and other players, complete quests, increase their experience in each of the 26 skills, or get gold and physical goals. And in addition, Players can interact with each other by trading, chatting, or playing mini-games.
I've never played Rune Scape in my life since the concept of an MMORPG doesn't appeal to me, especially if it has super bad graphics. But since it is a game that has remained very stable over the years, I wanted to give it a try and see what adventures I could get in this game.

The first thing I noticed when I entered the login page is that if you want to enjoy more aspects of the game you need to have a membership, since the servers or worlds are limited for players who do not have a membership, I think that this is to prevent deterioration of the game and to keep it profitable.
After selecting a world suitable for non-member players, I started by creating an avatar and a name. Although the graphics are not the best, you can appreciate the style that my character has, since he has the beard that I have always dreamed of lol.
As for the name, my initial intention was to put fabian98 on my avatar, but incredibly that nickname is already being used by another player, it is something incredible since it would be someone who has my name and was born in the same year hahaha. So I named my character "MimiSugar98" after my Cat and started my game.
When you start, the first thing you do is complete a tutorial that explains everything about how the game works in detail, since you can mine minerals, such as iron, bronze, among others. You can make things like tools, food, clothes, you can also fight against monsters, wizards, dragons, among other enemies.
When I started I clicked where my guide indicated and made a campfire, chop wood, make bread, fight giant rats, mine iron and bronze, and finally, I went to the bank to withdraw some gold coins that I had earned for completing the tutorial.
Something that I did not like very much was the concept of click to play since it is extremely annoying and it is also a very repetitive game since if you want to level up to something like magic points, fight points, or some other skill, you must do repetitive tasks that last for hours or even days.
Another thing that didn't catch my attention was that the graphics are extremely archaic, since if we compare Rune Scape with WoW or LOL, then Rune Scape fell far behind. But it's great to play with such an image since it doesn't require a lot of storage capacity and you can play it on computers with 1GB of RAM.
But outside of these points, the game does catch you from the beginning, forcing you to keep playing to discover more and more of what the game offers you. Currently, I have managed to pass the starting tutorial and now I will embark on different adventures to level up my character and see if I can defeat big monsters or even kill dragons which is a profitable activity lol.

Queridos compañeros de la comunidad gamer, ¿cómo están? Yo cada día mejor LOL. En la publicación de hoy quería comentarles sobre un juego que salió hace mucho y que causo mucha sensación como lo hizo Rakion o WoW en su momento. Estoy hablando de Rune Scape un juego de estilo MMORPG, videojuego de rol multijugador masivo en línea, que es comercializado por Jagex que es una empresa dedicada a la producción de videojuegos en línea en lenguaje Java.
La historia de este juego es muy interesante, ya que estuvo en el top del juego más popular y con algunos recodos reconocibles. Por ejemplo Rune Scape fue reconocido en agosto del 2018 como el juego MMORPG más popular en el mundo, del momento y hasta la actualidad lo sigue siendo, teniendo una gran rivalidad por el puesto con WoW. Ha sido uno de los juegos de estilo MMORPG más estables y duraderos en el tiempo, ya que desde que se lanzó en el 2001 sigue teniendo una cantidad considerable de jugadores activos.
Otro punto fuerte de este juego es que al día de hoy tiene una economía interna y externa muy rentable sin ser necesariamente un NFT. Siendo este el factor más destacado del juego ya que muchos jugadores venden el oro u otros ítems del juego para obtener dinero Fiat.
Ahora, en cuanto a la jugabilidad, pues se conserva muy desde que empezó, ya que el juego se ha caracterizado por ser un juego click to play, donde tienes que hacer click para mover el personaje e interactuar con las cosas alrededor.
Además el mapa de Rune Scape es muy extenso y es un mundo de fantasía llamado Gielinor, el cual está dividido en varios reinos, regiones y ciudades. Como es un juego MMORPG se puede viajar a pie por todo el mapa, mediante hechizos de teletransporatacion y otros mecanismos. Y cada región en donde estés puedes encontrar diferentes tipos de monstruos, recursos y aventuras.
Y otra cosa que destaco de la jugabilidad de Rune Scape, es que no tiene una historia lineal que debes seguir para completar el juego, ya que el concepto de mundo abierto es muy bien aplicado, y debido a la alta libertad que tienen los jugadores, estos pueden tener metas propias y objetivos, pelear contra monstruos y contra otros jugadores, completar misiones, aumentar su experiencia en cada una de las 26 habilidades, o conseguir oro y metas físicas. Y además Los jugadores pueden interactuar entre ellos mediante el comercio, conversando o jugando mini juegos.
Yo no he jugado nunca en mi vida Rune Scape, ya que el concepto de MMORPG no me llama mucho la atención y menos si tiene unos gráficos súper malos. Pero como es un juego que se ha mantenido muy estable a lo largo de los años, quise darle una oportunidad y ver que aventuras podría conseguir en este juego.
Por eso el primer paso para disfrutar de lo que ofrece Rune Scape, es ir hasta la página oficial: RuneScape y descargar el juego, además tienen una versión Lite para computadoras de bajos recursos y tambien han lanzado una versión para móviles. Como yo no tengo una pc tan potente, descargue la versión lite que aunque es un poco limitada en ciertos aspectos, ofrece la misma experiencia.
Lo primero que pude notar cuando ingrese a la página de para iniciar sesión, es que si quieres disfrutar de más aspectos de juego es necesario que tengas una membresía, ya que los servidores o mundos están limitados para los jugadores que no tengan membrecía, pienso que esto es para evitar el deterioro del juego y para que siga siendo rentable.
Luego de seleccionar un mundo apropiado para jugadores que no son miembros, comencé por crear un avatar y un nombre. Aunque los grafico no son los mejores, se puede apreciar el estilo que tiene mi personaje, ya que tiene la barba que siempre he soñado lol.
En cuanto al nombre, mi intención inicial era colocarle fabian98 a mi avatar, pero increíblemente ya ese nickname está siendo usado por otro jugador, es algo totalmente increíble ya que sería alguien que tiene mi nombre y haya nacido el mismo año jajaja. Así que le coloque el nombre de mi Gata a mi personaje "MimiSugar98" y comencé mi partida.
Cuando inicias, lo primero que haces es completar un tutorial que te explica todo el funcionamiento del juego a detalle, ya que puedes minar minerales, como hierro, bronce, entre otros. Puedes hacer cosas como herramientas, comida, ropa, además puedes pelear contra monstruos, magos, dragones, entre otros enemigos.
Cuando yo inicie hice click en donde me indicaba mi guía e hice una fogata, cortar madera, hacer pan, pelear contra ratas gigantes, minar hierro y bronce, y por ultimo fui al banco a retirar algunas monedas de oro que había ganado por completar el tutorial.
Algo que no me gustó mucho fue el concepto de click to play, ya que es sumamente fastidioso además es un juego muy repetitivo, ya que si quieres subir de nivel en alguna cosa como puntos de magia, puntos de pelea u alguna otra habilidad, debes hacer tareas repetitivas que duran horas o incluso días.
Otra cosa que no me llamo mucho la atención fue que los gráficos son sumamente arcaicos, ya que si comparamos Rune Scape con WoW o LOL, pues Rune Scape se quedó muy atrás. Pero es genial jugar con una imagen así, ya que no requiere de mucha capacidad de almacenamiento y lo puedes jugar en computadores con 1GB de RAM.
Pero fuera de estos puntos, el juego si te atrapa desde un principio obligándote a seguir jugando para descubrir más y más de lo que te ofrece el juego. Actualmente yo he logrado superar el tutorial de inicio y ahora me embarcare en diferentes aventuras para subir el nivel de mi personaje y ver si puedo derrotar a monstruos grandes o incluso matar dragones que es una actividad rentable lol.
