I have always wanted to participate in the Splinterlands contest but I was never able to make out time. As it happens, I finished my final exams in mid June and not only wrapped up my project but also submitted in July. Ever since, i've been making my way through a bucket list and now, the contest is that which lies before me.

The hatching technique is something i've been exploiting for a couple of months now and it just looked perfect to debut my entry with it.

When I came across this reference, I thought it best to retain an angry look and also to keep the blade. I didn't want to change too much as I am not well versed or familiar with the character.

The dark background helped usher the herald of doom and highlight the beards. I also didn't make the colors pronounced so as not to contradict the fierceness of the character.
