A decade and some ago my brother won't stop talking about Coldplay's - Viva la Vida and I really wanted to know the song. I however overtime have come to love their music and that beyond their popular hits.
The album they released with singles spread abroad over a year ago was really lit. I recommend you check out "Trouble in Town" - the video.(it's somewhat similar to George Orwell's - Animal Farm).
After the usual Sunday stress, I couldn't settle on what to sketch because I had intended making an impression of "The Joker" but time was against me. I went through my gallery and saw this stunning photo of Chris Martin, Coldplay's lead singer and baam!, I knew I had to make it.
I however wasn't able to finish it but the joy of this sketch is one I can't contain so here you have it, my halfway through portrait of Chris Martin....
Drawing Procedures
I made the outline of this sketch with my 3B St忙dtler pencil after which I layered with an 8B of the same brand. Thereafter, I used my 8B Bianyo pencil for the blurring - which is still in progress.
Thanks for stopping by, I'll be expecting you tomorrow.
