In 2020 when I started making portraits, one of the references I used most was Peter Dinklage. He had that dramatic face and his beards and scar, that one he wore in the Game of Thrones series made it possible for me to achieve certain tones around the contours of his face.
I’ve the years I kept that tradition alive (even though not as much as I used to). Recently though I haven’t been consistent with celebrity portraits so even the recommendations I get don’t have them atimes.
I came across this one in the afternoon and a nostalgic feeling swept my gut. I decided to run it through to see how it would look and I ended up with this. I took my time today though, I feel it’s necessary I state that.
