Looking at the way the world is going, and the ignorance and nonchalance of state and global leaders. One could stop to think how people who have been in power for so long can be blind to facts that they know. Corruption is no stranger, they just choose to overlook the perpetrators because they are friends thereby putting the lives of millions at risk and in abject poverty.
Take my country for instance, few months ago Twitter was banned by the president because his tweet which would inevitably started a civil war was deleted. The cost of living is getting high by the day and the police are threatening and arresting citizens and even in some cases, murdering them with for no reason, on no charge and without trial.
This has been going on for a while now and not once has the president addressed these issues.
This sad, thinking man I should think has become the face of my brothers who have to toil extra to make a living.
