Hello Leo Friends
There are three coins I wanted to play with today and they all are found on the same exchange.
I had talked about a couple of these on my last post, but I wanted to update you on my thinking today. Bitcoin has been playing at the sixty thousand dollar line all day. Library Credits (LBC) dipped about forty percent today and I snapped up a bunch of that. I know that the SEC is on Library right now, but at the same time I see a lot of people live streaming there a new feature just added.
Filecoin (FIL) also dipped, though its low was a hundred dollars over my entry price, and I grabbed some more of that too. Both of these first two are anti-censorship coins and censorship is increasing every day. It would be crazy not to have coins that battle power hungry corporations.
Many of you know that I like Monero because of its privacy aspect. My entry was around thirty three dollars if I remember right. The gains are nice and the utility is even better. I did not get any Monero today but I was looking at another privacy coin called Pirate Chain (ARRR) which is up today. I had planned to get in weeks ago but missed the best entry. I had downloaded and set up my core-wallet for ARRR in March but did not buy until today, getting in at thirty seven cents. It was at twenty cents when my urge to buy came on. Taking it slow and steady with this coin, buying little by little so that I do not cause a spike while I am accumulating it.
If you hate KYC as I do, you may want to look at Coinex.com where all of these coins are available and the volume is pretty good. The exchange goes a little overboard with the email confirmations to do certain actions, and the 2FA is forced before you can even make a deposit - all of that is overkill since the money you deposit there is at risk until you complete your trades and pull it back out. All corporate exchanges are like that simply because the keys are no longer in your control. I hate google 2FA but I have it on a really old phone for occasions like this. It is the only app on that phone and it never goes out with me. The exchange seems to be worth the headaches. Initial review of Coinex is positive.
The last one I want to mention is Tron (TRX). This coin has been in my portfolio for well over three years and it is not a huge position. I will not be selling it yet, but it is up nearly five times my entry price.
I spent BTC to buy the positions that I added today. That is nice because spending a coin that is high to buy a coin that is well below its recent highs gets you more coins for your buck.
Conversely, buying the dip when BTC is also in a dip sometimes renders zero gains.
