According to the latest news that we heard,Grab driver need to apply E hailing to continue their job but there is still no official effective statement.Grab Company have now engaged with our Transport Minister to get this things settle.
For those who do not know what is E hailing,let me show you.
E hailing is a term where a process conducted of ordering a Taxi,Limo or any term of transportation pick up via any device
The E stands for electronic and hail refers to the traditional process of signaling the transport to stop

As a grab driver, we received an announcement email from grab company to avoid their driver to get confuse.
The email show that :
Grab Company has meet the transport Ministry and take this opportunity to highlight the things that may burden the co-driver, where most of them are transparent and individuals who rely on Grab an extra source of income.
Transport Ministry has given a transition period of up to one year and there may not will be any major changes before 2019
Grab Company will give fully guide towards this transition to get smooth-sailing transition of any potential changes.
Ensure more positive within this transition.For example,upgrading safety matter and income.
Grab Company and Transport Ministry consent to reduce the burden of potential training and fees for the training.
Any upcoming update will be update within email by time to time.
