Hello sewing friends, I hope you are enjoying this day, and weekend, with God's blessing. Again in this beautiful community, today I show you how I made some pencil cases, with a pattern, I wanted to try to see how this pencil case was put together. Sometimes we see on the internet many crafts, or sewing works, that require making a pattern guide, and we see it easy but, one thing is to see the steps and another to do them the same, and many times it is not as expected.
I chose this pattern, and with scraps of fabric, I began to shape it, until I managed to make it as it was.
So I invite you to join me and see how the result was, in this case I made two pencil case, as they are for my daughter's teacher, who always carries her colors, and markers, every day in her bag, to go to class.
Make the pattern with a rectangle of 28cm wide by 27cm long. In the corners of 4cm and 3cm for the fold, here I leave in the photo the pattern to be better appreciated.
Then I place it on the fabric, each one separately, and also cut the lining fabric, which is white.
The blue fabric with green, I tied it, or sewed it in patches, for a better combination, and then cut the pattern to size.
Having everything cut, I proceed to glue the zipper on each of them, placing the zipper between the printed fabric and the lining fabric, pin and sew on the machine.
Once the zipper is sewn, I sew a seam at each end of the zippers on the fabric, so that it is closed at the edges, since this zipper is not as long as the length of the fabric, that is, they are zippers that are sold by meters or centimeters according to their use, that stick to the other edge. As this zipper measures 20cm, then close a little at its ends, and thus be able to close the sides, on both sides, I pin in the corner, each part that is the blue fabric that is right to right and likewise the lining fabric, this I pin it with pins and sew to be closed.
So I sewed in all the corners, but first I sewed a strip on one side.
As you can see when I finished sewing this part, the seam is on the inside.
Now as I had already left an opening in the lining fabric, it is to be able to flip it over, so that all the seam is on the inside to make the work neat.
On the blue patchwork pencil case I glued some buttons to make it look different.
I put a thin ribbon on the zippers, so it will be more comfortable to open and close the pencil case.
Now ready and finished, it was easy to make this design, and fast, now to use it and keep the markers and colors.

Hola amigos de la costura, esperando esten disfrutando de este dia, ya fin de semana, con la bendicion de Dios. Nuevamente en esta bella comunidad, hoy les muestro como hice unas cartucheras, con un patron, que queria probar a ver como se armaba esta cartuchera. A veces vemos por internet muchas manualidades, o trabajos de costuras, que requieren hacer un patron guia, y lo vemos fácil pero, una cosa es ver los pasos y otra hacerlos iguales, que muchas veces no queda como uno esperaba.
Yo elegi este patron, y con retazos de tela, empecé a darle forma, hasta que logré hacerlo como era.
Así que te invito a que me acompañes y veas como quedó el resultado, en este caso hice dos cartuchera, ya que son para la maestra de mi hija, que siempre carga sus colores, y marcadores, todos los días en su bolso, para ir a dar clases.
Realice el patron con un rectangulo de 28cm de ancho, por 27cm de largo. En las esquina de 4cm y 3cm para el doblez, aqui dejo en la foto el patron para que se aprecie mejor.
Luego lo coloco en la tela, cada por separado, y asi mismo corto la tela de forro, que es de color blanco.
La tela azul con verde, la empate, o cosi en retazos, para una mejor combinacion, y luego corte por el patron a la medida.
Teniendo todo cortado, procedo a pegar el cierre en cada una de ellas, colocando el cierre entre la tela estampada y la tela de forro, prense con los alfileres y coso en la, máquina.
Ya con el cierre cosido, le pase una costura en cada terminacion de los cierres en la tela, para que quede cerrado en los bordes, ya que este cierre no es largo como el largo de la tela, es decir, son unos cierres que se venden por metros o centimetros de acuerdo a su uso, que pegan corrido hasta el otro borde. Como éste cierre mide 20cm, entonces cerre un poco en sus terminaciones, y así poder cerrar los costados, en ambos lados, prenso en las esquina, cada parte es decir la tela azul que quede derecho con derecho y asi mismo la tela de forro, esta la prenso con los alfileres y coso para que quede cerrada.
Asi cosi en todas las esquina pero antes le coloque una tira de un lado.
Como ven al terminar de coser esta parte, la costura queda por dentro.
Ahora como ya habia dejado una abertura en la tela de forro, es para poder voltear, y asi toda la costura esté por dentro para que este prolijo el trabajo.
En la cartuchera azul de retazos le pegue unos botones de adornos, para que se vea distinta
En los cierres le coloque una cinta de razo finita, asi dara mejor comodidad al abrir y cerrar la cartuchera.
Ya listo y terminado, fue fácil hacer este diseño, y rápido, ahora a darle uso y guardar los marcadores y colores.
