It's okay if you're lost in this world of uncertainty. You don't have to look back although you'll have to consider the mistakes of yesterday as a means to checkmate and stay tracked.
Too much of everything would kill you so what's the point of taking this life too serious when you can never get the circumstances of life in accordance to your will. Why not strive for something deeper; something like a good name, a beautiful heart and powerful relationships because whether or not you take it, everything you do with life today might ripple out in someone's life even long after you're gone.
If you ask me, I would say you shouldn't chase happiness because you'll end up doing shits just to feel happy. Isn't it funny? we pop drugs to feel happy just as others abstain to catch same happiness. Both parties never find their balance because they put themselves on a pedestal of pressure just to find happiness which shouldn't at the first place be their priority. On a long run the result ripples and this time it's so obviously depressing that the victim is left with certain fixating feeling of finding instant rest; something they call, redemption.
Here's the point: The world at large doesn't care about the Happiness of men, men are expected to perform their duties whatever way they can else lose their relevance. Men are expected to understand that our happiness doesn't matter because our mode and emotions aren't designed to determine our duties as men. Men are the masters of their lives, mind you so as a singer? you're expected to sing whether or not you're happy just as a writer is supposed to write whether or not he's happy else his editor kicks him out.
We wake as men to connect with our source then explore our strengths in every activity we indulge because that sense of duty is exactly what we need to find that illusion of happiness that we all actually need. Also, as men we must understand what we actually want for ourselves and be precise too because intentions without attention is illusion.
So we're bringing a new religion to this generation. A religion where we cut words out of our perception and see no evil even in things we naturally dislike as we become the finger pointing to the moon that's calling men to understand that happiness isn't the rule of life, duty is. Everyone who really understands the concept of a happy life would understand that duty is the key. Women could be an exception but as men, this one rule is betrothed to us else we would watch our lives sail on a pond whose water wasn't flowing as we thought.
