Hello everyone, I remain my humble self Anyebe Gideon.. I will like to share my little experience the last time I went home.
During the festive period, I was actually contemplating weather to go home or not until I finally convinced myself to go home. Despite the lack of some basic social amenities, home was still fun.
I have 5 siblings and fortunately for me am the first. That kind elder brother things na.. Lol
Due to the severe harmattan in my place, waking up early is very cumbersome. But as the eldest coupled with the fact that I have three grown up sisters who are hard working, they will quickly put on a thick sweat shirt and rush down to parlour and then distribute work for themselves.. Before I wake up, the food is set, the room is swept and so on. My morning duty is to wake and eat. Waoo my sisters are so wonderful.. Missing them so much.

Again, my home town called Etutekpe in Kogi State is endowed with fruits especially orange, banana, plantain, mango, cashew and many others. We don't buy them because they are surplus apart from banana and plantain although at a very cheap rate. Your own duty is to create chance to go to where you can get the one of your choice.
My love for orange is overwhelming, I leaked orange as if there is no tomorrow... Very sweat ones. My friends in school here can testify that I brought plenty oranges when I returned to school.

I enjoyed my ground mother's locally made food. There is a local seasoning or condiment called locust bean used in soup and sometimes stew, I really do not like it because of its odour but it's presence in soup especially soup can make one go crazy. That aroma alone is enough to make you salivate even without seeing the food.

My friends at home were so wonderful, we attended marriages and whole lot of ceremonies together. Had the highest fun of 2017 at home during the festive period. To be sincere, I didn't want to come back to school again.... But I had no choice..
