Did you know that there actually is an international surfing day? On June 20th. I had no idea, but how could I if I don't surf. But that is what Google tells me and google is always right :))
These photos were not shot in June though. I can imagine in June the beach is packed with people.
I took them in February - when the beach is wide and spacious with just a few people walking around (too cold to swim) and of course the surfers enjoying the bigger, winter waves.
I didn't have a proper lens to catch the guys riding the waves, only the Sigma prime lens (no zoom) I use for macro photography. But I still couldn't resist shooting them.
Busted :p
