Can you smell the spring yet? Probably not, it is still time. But its coming... soon fields will fill up with flowers and bugs and the red poppies on their skinny and long stems will swing again on the warm breeze.

These were shot on a countryside road in Poland some other spring. Hundreds of them on booth sides.
I used Helios 40-2 lens trying to catch the swirly bokeh and on some photos it shows more, others less. I blame the light and lack of experience. They still turned out quite dreamy and calm which is what I like about the less-realistic photos (at least that's what I call them. It is not how it looks like after all).
Some were covered in tiny black aphids 馃憞
As a bonus little Veronica flowers that were growing all around. Since they are not very tall they get tangled with grasses and other weeds. Putting the camera at their level made it all look like a tunnel filled with blue flowers.
Funny thing about these - they hate to be picked. I have tried a few times to include them in some bouquet as a kid and hey just rop their flowers soon after. Same as poppies actually.
A good trick to be safe from picking ;)
