Pass the last houses on the distant and empty fields..
Slowly towards the trees where the roads gets narrower and surrounded by freely growing weeds..
And then stop.
Listen.
I always loved the winter silence on the countryside. The cold keeps most people and animals hidden in warm holes. And on the windless and snowy days the time and everything around seems to be in slow motion... I can stand in an empty and motionless woods and just enjoy the winter calm.
All photos were taken on the way to the woods in my hometown. I borrowed my brother's Canon to try as I never used those cameras before.
Damn it was heavy!
