It almost feels like summer here, but I am still in very much spring mood. I have had a very ambitious plan to repot, renew, rearrange the balcony pots, cacti and whatever else I have there THIS SPRING. So until I am done, and I have been battling with it on and off for a while now, it is spring. And I will not say it is summer until I am done :p
Since we have that sorted, some signs of spring would be nice.
Below Pelargonia buds - I have such a love and hate relationship with those since I remember. I like their flowers, they are easy to grow, are very forgiving, bloom almost all season long and the leaves have this nice scent.
But they are so... damn... messy!
They drop the petals like crazy and since they bloom a lot, there is a lot of dry petals everywhere!
And another messy one - Haworthia flowers. Smaller, but they drop without any warning too.
Hmm.. I think I have another reason why I like cacti - they are not messy :)
And something that I didn't plant, nor wanted, The wind brought some tree seeds and they started to grow on one of the pots. I kept them. They are nice :)
And of course the ones I look most forward to: cacti.
All the new spines and flowers buds mean they are still alive and ready to wake up and that I didn't kill them during the winter.
