Back in 2011 i heard all about this new revolutionary coin and currency and how it was going to technically revolutionise banking and change the world and you willl make millions etc. i assumed it was a scam.
2 years later looked back at it and saw a few graphs and thought wow it is actually worth $50 each maybe this isnt a scam.
upon a lot of researching and reading into it (geeky stuff). i decided to start mining it using my 570 graphics card. i made about $3.00 of bitcoin in a month of mining so decided it was a waste of time and i wanted to use my computer for gaming. and youtube vids so gave up mining
i left what i had earned on a mining pool for 3 years just kind of forgot about it and it was worth $80-90 when i came back
i would have invested something back in 2013 but there wasn't a website or an exchange that felt secure enough. especially in regards to cashing out your money safely into fiat currency.,or getting caught up in a blatant scam. mt gox was the biggest exchange back then. and just the look and feel of the cheaply made website just shouted out to me that it wasn't safe to put money on it, and i was right.
In February 2014, Mt. Gox suspended trading, closed its website and exchange service, and filed for bankruptcy protection from creditors. In April 2014, the company began liquidation proceedings.
In 2016 i discover coinbase and decide to throw a cheeky £100 on it and get in on this bitcoin hype and i ended up making £200 profit in 3 months.
i cashed that out along with the £60 ($90) i had mined 3 years before, using coinbase sepa payments the system was very secure and took me 3 days just to sign up with coinbase and verify everything.
but now a 2017 there is ethereum to play with and having bought 7 of them for £200 i regret exchanging them for bitcoin. however now all my money is on ethereum but i intend to buy some more bitcoin during any rough patches. along with litecoin and ethereum.
i have learnt from this that i have made a profit but i could made a lot more if i had been more patient. the best advice i can give is spread your money into these 3 currencies for investments. bitcoin will always go up due to scarcity , ehtereum will go up because of it mainstream use and more practical applications. and litecoin who knows what the price of this will go to but it holds its value well and is definitely more than a fiat savings account will give you. Also litecoin is useful have if nothing more than to use to buy the other 2 currencies when the prices drop.
i hope this helps in the way you invest in your cryptocurrencies.

be careful though i would not recommend clicking any of the adverts or sign up to any other faucets on the moon bitcoin web page. the site itself is legit. and does payout but some of the adverts may scams.
Also DO NOT! use adblocker whilst using faucet websites as this is how they afford to give you free coin and they will block your ip
