The feeling is mutual, finlandssvenska just wasn’t appealing to me so I never learned it, even cheated my way through the mandatory tests. Honesty I think it really comes down to where we grew up and went to school, so for us it was the opposite languages and you hardly ever heard the other one spoken. Though one could argue that english would be even more remote, but at least for me I loved learning it and it came very naturally.

If we ever meet you’ll have to teach me some swedish, I pretty much only know ”varmt” and ”kallt” because my kitchen faucet is from sweden 😂
