Man, i used to get so much shit for saying I don't like the language. It's understandable of course cause its so universal for them that they instantly take offense. Very few understood that it was nothing against the people, i actually really like them, my brain just never wanted to learn it and the more i tried the more i didn't like it (and not just cause its so different).
I think i just have some weird adhd or something overall for accents i don't like along with languages or certain pronounciations. I get weirdly triggered by it. Doesn't mean I think I'm a better person who can learn to speak languages the same way natives do, I'm just weirdly sensative to these things for some reason to a fault. Like I'm pretty sure I could've done way better in life had i known both fluent swedish and finnish, so many more doors would've opened, but i made due anyway and found my own path I guess.
