I have taken a lot of sunset pictures, but this must be the most unique one to date. Last week I walked from our hotel to the nearby beach Khao Takiab, to see if I could catch the sun setting behind the mountains that rise behind Hua Hin, Thailand.

There is a golf course next to the beach and there was an excavator on the edge of it for some construction work, with tinted windows to match the colours of the setting sun. And so it happens that when the sun started to go down, it was perfectly positioned behind the machine and gave an extra oomph for otherwise a normal sunset photograph.

Shot with Nikon D7200 and Nikkor 55-200mm 4-5.6G.
