Hey hi hello, just checking in and making sure Hive is still up and running. It’s been a week since I was here and looks like all is well in the utopia.
I was reminded recently that it’s my 6th Hive birthday coming up in the spring, how crazy is that!? So much has happened in my life during this time and I’m quite glad I have the diary of it on the chain, even though it’s very hard to find a way to go back to the early days.
Hive was my priority for so many years and it really did take over my life, mostly in a good way, but my priorities lie elsewhere at the moment. I’m not going anywhere but I’m just living in the real world more these days and it’s quite lovely because it’s the life I have created myself.
Sadly with Hive taking a backseat so has photography, the two have been hand-in-hand but I’ve done neither lately. I have no valid reason for why I haven’t picked up the camera almost at all lately, other than not being inspired to do so. Fret not, it’s not the first time in my life I take a long break from photography. I’ll always come back to it. Oh shit, I just remembered I did take photos at a family thing last weekend and I completely forgot to even look at them, let alone choose, edit and send off to people. I need to get on that asap.
Okay so that’s all for now, just letting you know I’m not going anywhere even if I’m taking longer breaks! I hope you are all well :)
Ps. I really need to figure out what I want to do with this room because the bare white walls make me feel like I’m in a hospital! Some curtains would be nice at least.
