I’ll be doing this until my hands bleed, literally. Sometimes I have to protect my right palm with a plaster because my nails are so long and sharp they hurt me while I knit.

I don’t remember if I’ve posted about this project before, I might have, but since this seems like it’ll take me an eternity to finish, I’mma post about it again. I’ve been working on this scarf for years, because sometimes I forget about it and it gets boring after a while. I do other projects in between and then go back to this when I don’t have anything else underway.

Mosaic knitting is such a cool way to knit a two colour pattern because you only use one colour at a time. There are quite a lot of limitations to what kind of pattern you can do and I can’t be bothered to design my own because of it, there is plenty of free pattern available anyways.

I’m using an alpaca yarn in three different blues along with a light grey. I know this is something I wouldn’t wear myself but it’ll make a nice gift to someone of I ever finish it. Do keep in mind that a knit like this looks a bit weird until it’s finished and I properly wash and block it into it’s final shape.
