I’m not sure if aamujäät translates properly to English but I think you get the point, morning ice-skate practise.
I’m a little sore from yesterdays sledding and it’s been a year since the last time I was on skates so it was like seeing bambi on ice. It was alright though, I didn’t fall.
Fun fact, the skating rink houses a few school classes where there used to be a cafeteria and stands. The town ripped down the old school because of some mold issue or some shit, and the new school hasn’t been build yet, so now all the students are scattered in different building over town. There were a few kids looking longingly towards the ice, while trying to consentrate on studying. Poor kiddos.
We had a lovely time skating as it was only four people there, plenty of space for all of us.
