Some days ago I wrote about blaming others instead of blaming yourself. If you did not read it, you should read this first.
After writing this and gotten my mind open to the possibility that I was to blame. I had an discussion or what you would call it with on that I felt let me down. I will not go into what happened but I had expectations that was not met. I blamed the other person for not meeting my needs and wants. I let the person notice that I was not satisfied and unhappy.
After I had a long walk with my dog I came to realize that it is not the other persons fault that I expected them to give me what I want. I can not tell another how to be or to correct them to be as I want. It is my choice to acknowledge this and choose my path. The other person has it own path, thoughts, feelings and ways to act. Just because they are not the same as mine, I can not blame them.
Yes I can be unhappy about that they are not tuned in as I am. But it is my choice to keep the person in my life as he/she is. Not just they person I want them to be.
Have you blamed someone else for not being the way you want them to be???
Life is full of choices and struggles, sometimes you choice will be the best for you, either as a lesson on what not to do or if you are lucky as a lesson on what to do. Either way it is your choice to make.
I often realize that I have to take my self out of a situation to have a second view of a situation, call it the bird perspective. This often give me a possibility to analyze and see how things could be corrected.
I have a lot of strong abilities and a lot of weaknesses that I need to be better at. Not because others want it but because I want if for my self.
Another person can not change you if you don’t want to be changed and you can not change someone else, if they don’t want to change. A person is alway in charge of their on life and their own actions.
Do you agree with me? Let me know!
Don’t you agree with me? Same there let me know what you think.
Have a great and thoughtful weekend
