At the end of February I returned to Venezuela, because I was in Colombia working for a while because the university where I study is stopped due to the pandemic, so with my sister I decided to go to Arauca and gain experience working, and that's how it was, I worked in a restaurant and my sister in a supermarket, in these places each one met many people and it was a unique experience that we both liked, but then we were told that we had to return to our city to do some things at the university because my sister and I am already almost finishing our university degree.
Una vez aquí, teniamos un poco de tiempo libre y estábamos aburridas y resulta que en una videollamada con mi excompañera de trabajo del restaurante, ella me nombró la aplicación Tinder para conocer gente y divertirnos un poco, así que decidí descargarla para probar. Pasaron unos días y solo conocía gente de mi ciudad, pero recuerdo que hubo un momento en que la aplicación me sugirió activar la opción global para conocer gente de otros países y yo acepté.
Once here we had a bit of free time and we were bored and it turns out that in a video call with my former coworker from the restaurant, she named me the Tinder app to meet people and have a little fun, so I decided to download it to give it a try. A few days passed and I only knew people from my city, but I remember that there was a time when the application suggested that I activate the global option to meet people from other countries and I accepted.
Así que un día hice match con alguien especial, era de Estados Unidos, pero estaba de vacaciones en México, tuvimos varias conversaciones antes de tener nuestra primera videollamada (para verificar que los 2 eramos reales jajaja) y los dos captures de arriba fueron antes de conocernos en persona, porque sí, nos conocimos en persona, porque luego de 2 semanas hablando (pues intercambiamos nuestros números) decidimos que queriamos conocernos en Colombia pues él no puede entrar a Venezuela porque no tiene visa y yo tampoco podía entrar a su país pues tampoco tengo visa, y Colombia era una buena opción para ambos.
So one day I made a match with someone special, he was from the United States, but he was on vacation in Mexico, we had several conversations before having our first video call (to verify that we were both real hahaha) and the two captures above were before meet in person, because yes, we met in person, because after 2 weeks talking (we exchanged our numbers) we decided that we wanted to meet in Colombia because he cannot enter Venezuela because he does not have a visa and I could not enter his country either. I don't have a visa either, and Colombia was a good option for both of us.
Finalmente nos vimos y pasamos 10 días juntos y agradables en Bogotá, compartiendo y conociendo diferentes lugares, y con muchas ganas de volver a vernos pronto o al menos por mi parte. Por supuesto seguimos haciendo nuestras videollamadas de vez en cuando y hablando sobre la próxima vez que nos veamos, que será en varios meses, pero pues estoy feliz de que todo salió bien y nos vimos, aunque aún no me creo que algo así me haya pasado a mí jajaja. Disfruten la vida amigos, pero con precaución, por supuesto que antes de vernos yo lo investigué a él y puse algunas condiciones para sentirme segura, y el aceptó, pues tenía un poco de miedo, y queria que todo saliera bien y así fue.
We finally saw each other and spent 10 pleasant days together in Bogotá, sharing and getting to know different places, and looking forward to seeing each other again soon or at least on my part. Of course we continue making our video calls from time to time and talking about the next time we see each other, which will be in several months, but I'm happy that everything went well and we saw each other, although I still don't believe that something like this has happened to me. me hahaha. Enjoy life friends, but with caution, of course, before we saw each other I investigated him and put some conditions to feel safe, and he accepted, because he was a little afraid, and he wanted everything to turn out well and it did.
Son varios meses antes de volver a vernos, pero estoy contenta por la experiencia que viví, la disfruté y aprendí muchas cosas, conocí muchos lugares, y sí tenemos que volver a vernos así será, puede ser en Venezuela, Estados Unidos o Colombia, donde sea lo importante es disfrutar la compañía y disfrutar eso tan corto que llaman vida. Solo imagínense como estaré cuando nos volvamos a ver, quiza más nerviosa que la primera vez o quiza no nos volvamos a ver, pero estoy feliz y tranquila y eso es lo importante.
It is several months before we see each other again, but I am happy for the experience I had, I enjoyed it and learned many things, I knew many places, and if we have to see each other again that is how it will be, it may be in Venezuela, the United States or Colombia, where Whatever the important thing is to enjoy the company and to enjoy that so short that they call life. Just imagine how I will be when we meet again, maybe more nervous than the first time or maybe we will not see each other again, but I am happy and calm and that is the important thing.
