A few days ago, while I felt like watching a movie that can boost my prayer life, I remembered one of my favorite movies's titled War Room.
I decided to watch the movie once again for the love of the inspiration this move gives to one who is down. it is an inspirational movie telling one that even in the midst of struggle, all we need to do, is call on God through prayer and He is there to work out things for us.
ABOUT THE MOVIE
War room movie is a American Christian drama released in 2015, November 27 precisely and it is a two hours movie. It is really centered on a particular family Elizabeth and Tony Jordan (Priscilla Shirer and T.C. Starlings) whose marriage is a mess and needs peace or divorce will set in. The movie is produced by the Kendrick brothers (Alex Kendrick and Stephen Kendrick)
The Jordan family seems to have it all but lacked what some essential things a good marriage need, which is peace, harmony, unity, and love. Although they looked like an ideal marriage on the surface with a good job, a child (a beautiful daughter - Danielle Jordan Alena Pitts) and a beautiful home, but had so many cracks that kept the wife bitter at all times.

Elizabeth knew her marriage was crumbling but she just did not know what to do until she meets her new client, Miss Clara (Karen Abercrombie) who was a 91-year-old prayer warrior who has been through a lot in life and also regretted her actions while she was still married.
Miss Clara tried having conversation with Mrs. Elizabeth Jordan about her family but she always would not want to talk about it, when Mis Clara observed this, she tries her best to guard the young lady to Christ and teach her how to speak into the lives of her husband, and marital home.
At first, Elizabeth was not willing to give it a try but after much thought, she decides to give it a try. With the help of Miss Clara, who was ready to guide her and help her family unite again with the help of prayer, she begins praying by faith, with the hope that one day, her husband would come back to his senses.
Their lives take an unexpected turn for the better when Elizabeth's prayers are been answered slowly, Tony Jordan lost his job when his boss got to know he had been cheating the company all this while just to be at the top as the best sales agent.
He began to stay at home and with the help of Miss Clara encourages the couple to find happiness, and faith in their prayer, Tony was not charged to court by his company.
He begged for forgiveness from his wife and child and they both forgave him. Gradually their home began to revive back to what a marriage is expected.

My Thought
This movie is more of a typical scenario that is happening in our world, where family are stuggling to stay together just so people don't see them as a bad vibes. This movie has made us understand that what a family who is willing to stay together need is faith in God and prayer to be able to win the spiritual warfare we all are fighting against. The movie also makes us to understand that we don't need to keep fighting with our spouse because they are actually not the problem, but our problem and who we need to fight is the devil.
