A year ago today, I was looking to get a job as a software developer. Today I am working as Head of Startups at a firm. A lot changes in 365 days.
I won't write a long post here, I'll give the summary of what I learned building up to where I am now.
Before I decided to venture in software development, I was very unfocused. I wanted to do so many things, and couldn't find the strength to concentrate on the things that matter.
Getting to where I am now, I learned to focus immensely on the things that matter, while letting go of distractions and the things I couldn't control.
My life now is a string of activities. I multi-task, yes, but I am highly focused, because I can concentrate heavily. I dedicate time to every activity I have to do, I pick my tasks based on priority and work in that order.
Now I achieve more by being focused.
There were lots of ups and downs but having a single motive kept me going. It was my biggest drive to not give up.
I am still on my journey, and I am hopeful I can reach my destination.
Nonetheless, I will still keep fighting and pushing forward.
