Trash Mountain

Swing wide the gates in expectance
Of our sour and motley parade,
Watch as we come to unload
Our cargo upon the cascade.

Here, we gather every day
In our vile rusted vehicle,
To pay our homage to refuse.
A truly modern spectacle.

We toss our crass sacrifices
Of pies and plastics on the pyre.
As you debate in your town halls,
Our mountain climbs higher and higher.
