The first goal is a (mostly) definitive guide to building, funding, and otherwise make this vision of a library a reality. Bare minimum consultations and estimates needed. Along with crucial advice, recommended reading.
Of course I should start something resembling a Zettelkasten, to collect the knowledge which I'm pulling up through my research. Append to my dictionaryDB for this purpose?
Now this may be the most complicated and expensive part of the process. Any form of detailed estimates are always going to be pricey. And complicated because there will be a lot of parameters which a builder would like in order to begin.
First and foremost though, there needs to be some kind of surveying done in order to see if there is any kind of interest at all.
This goal, being the bare minimum, means I will do my best to make knowledgeable decisions on the basic design of everything. Proper designs will come in the subsequent stage, either with a stretch goal or in the next kickstarter.
Tallying all of this up: 100's of dollars for quotes of plans. Maybe keep $500 for that. Maybe $500 to pay for lunches with knowledgeable people, and another $1,000 for paid consultations. Perhaps $500 for padding and the cost to my time for putting this all into a proper report.
So yeah, $2,500 for the bare minimum planning and advice-seeking.
