PROCEDURE FOR NURSING THE FISH Before ordering the fish, need to fill the pond with water and allow it to stay for 24hrs, then treat the water with chemical, before putting the fish. Feed the fish with coppens or vital fish feed, the one that is common in Nigeria is vital fish feed the coppens is costly because is a foreign food. Feeding should be done twice daily morning and evening, then change water in the fish pond after 3 days. Boost the fish with supplement like aqua pro for growth. After 2 weeks sort out the fishes ( separating big from small, to prevent the bigger ones overwhelming the smaller ones in food and can possibly eat up the smaller ones) sorting should be done twice a month.
