Today I bring you an illustration called "The Last Letter", where we see a 19th century girl reading a letter, which sometimes makes us think that she received a beautiful love at that time.
This is the story of a vintage girl who anxiously awaited another letter from her beloved and who never received despite her hope. He wanted to read another of his letters since his beloved had promised to return, after solving a problem outside the city.
Since he left, less was known about him.
Many days passed, and the child's pain grew accumulating in her soul, and every night she cried. The disinterest of his beloved became increasingly clear and the days along with his absence, where in the end he had to accept that the letter of that unrequited love would never arrive.
