You look around and there's no one there. Your heart is filled with sorrow, and you run into the street, still screaming his name. You run several blocks, then begin to hear the hum of a large crowd. You look up and see thousands of people walking through the street and into the park.

You start walking too, frightened that he'll leave you for someone else.

You finally sit down on a bench to see who he is talking to. You don't recognize her. She's very slender and is wearing a long white dress. Her face is also skinny and long, but there is a certain glow about her.

You can tell she is younger than you, but not by much. She looks amazing.

You take a few steps back so you can see his face. He looks into your eyes before his look moves to her face. He pauses and smiles at her and she smiles back.

You glance around and see hundreds of girls standing around like her, all with long, slender bodies and glowing skin.

He reaches out and touches her shoulder. Her smile becomes more confident and she reaches out and touches him. Her eyes meet yours, and she smiles again, this time very invitingly.

You feel a light squeeze from behind. You look back and see the pretty girl you just met standing there laughing. You aren't really sure how she got there, but you know someone touched you.

She looks up at you as if she's just won the lottery, and she takes your hand and pulls you away from the crowd. Looking back, you see hundreds of men and women float down the street, after the girl.

She's using you to get to that man, but what do you do?

You want to let go of her hand, let her go, and turn back to where she came from.

You'd rather lose her forever than lose him.

You run back into the street, but you can't see her. You run up to the rest of your friends and tell them that he's five feet away and glowing. That's how you knew it was him.

You laugh as he looks down at you with a puzzled look. You look back at him and his eyes roll back in his head. Your heart sinks.

All the pretty girls run over to him. Your friends surround you and ask what's wrong.

"Who are you?" the pretty girl asks curiously.

You glance over at him and see he's turning back toward her. He steps toward her and touches her arm, then looks back at you again. You're terrified that he's going to leave you.

Your friends protect you as you try to get out of the way, but you can't. You feel a pair of eyes looking into yours. You move your eyes over to look into his and see him smiling at you.

He looks back at you before looking back at her. He wipes a tear from his eye and tells you, "I was supposed to do this."

You know he made this happen. He appears to love you. He was supposed to be the one to run into your life. He was supposed to love you.

Then, right in front of him, you both are ripped from each other. You see him grabbed by a pair of long, skinny arms. He screams as he's pulled away and into a hole.

You see him disappear into the hole. You scream his name, but by then he's gone. Your friends pull you away, urging you to go home.

None of the crowds and none of the men and women following the girl come back. Your friends drag you all the way home before losing control of you. You collapse on the floor and sob.

You never wanted to see that man again. You never wanted it to end.

Within a few weeks, you have a major change of heart. You hope he's all right. You hope he's happy.

You want to go home and see him again

You stand up and hug your friends. They accept the hug and pat you on the check. You thank them for being there for you.

You tell them you need to go and walk away, toward the hole. You take a deep breath before stepping over the threshold.

You take your first ever step over the threshold.

No one is there.

You reach for the door, but it only is locked. You turn away from it and walk back out, and you never go back. You never want to see him again.

Your friends hear your cries for help as you're being pulled in, but it's too late. The door locks shut and you can hear screaming, calling out your name. Your friends are nowhere to be found.

You feel cold hands, many pairs of them, pulling you into the dark. You fight. You scream. You scream his name.

"Alexander," you say, "Alexander".

Your friends go back to the park and watch. They see only one man, a small man, run from the screams after the woman in white. You're pulled in and gone into the darkness by the man with long, skinny arms. His hair is long, too, but he is nowhere to be seen.

Your friends are gone by the time the man with the long hair sees her, but he knows. He knows what she is. He knows who she is.

He knows what will happen in the end.

He watches her go. He watches the fast, long way she moves. He watches the way her long limbs move as she runs away from everything, leaving a trail of people in her wake.

She looks back. She is running, but she looks back at you. She looks back at the park and yells.

She tells you she loves you.

Then she is gone.
