Introduction
We entered the second week of August and we continue with our activities, first we want to apologize for breaking the dynamics of initiatives every 15 days, yesterday Monday should have been published an initiative and it did not happen. So despite the inconveniences we continue with our periodic publications that invite you to get closer to all the creators who make life in the community and the content they share every day. These publications are a means to communicate our updates or changes in the rules in the case that there are, also to approach the initiatives, contests or dynamics that are in force in the community.
On the other hand we want to mention something special. We have accustomed everyone in the community that there are always initiatives or dynamics that invite you to create content, but these are not a creative frontier. That is to say, in the case that any person wishes to express an opinion or whatever with respect to a topic that fits the philosophy of the community, he/she can do it with total freedom. It does not matter if it does not respond to the ongoing initiative.
Initiatives
With the intention of providing creative breadth and variety, as one of our short term goals is to increase our activity in all senses, as we are mainly motivated by being able to grow as a project. In our last issue of this magazine we made an announcement that we consider important and that can add a lot of value to the community dynamics. So before we move on to the publications segment we want to remind you with the intention of letting you know about our most recent update. We want to create an incentive protocol for the community and since we are not quite clear about it yet, it is precisely one of the things we want to consult.
We have taken the decision to use the default beneficiary to the publications in the community, for now we have set it at 1%, we say for now because it will be the community who will decide if it seems reasonable to set it at 1% or maybe raise it to 2 or maybe 3%, but that is something that we must discuss and debate all, not only the team that leads the project but all those who make life in the community. Now, we do not want this to be taken as something mandatory to be able to publish in the community, really far from that. PUBLICATIONS:
With this magazine that we publish periodically as we have said before, we do not intend only to share the publications hosted in the community, but we want to support the dissemination and exposure of published articles, and above all promote their reading and interaction between digital humanists in Web3. We also find it useful to host all publications in a period of time in a single publication so they are all in one place without having to do too much scrolling in the community.
At the time of writing this issue we have a total of 710 subscribers, which means that we continue to grow in number of subscribers. It may not be the fastest growth of web3, but it has been constant and that in itself is something wonderful and our goal is to reach 1000 subscribers before the end of the year. We believe in the consolidation of a community focused on promoting and disseminating the humanities in digital environments.
