Ethos Universal Wallet is the answer to all the Coinbase issues. It will make cryptocurrencies accessible to everyone, even your grandmother ;)
I'm very confident in this project and I have invested heavily on it. The wallet is going to be realesed to the public soon, they said the first quarter of 2018.
