The unreached…
On Sunday, while teaching the Sunday school, the Holy Spirit dealt with me in a very beautiful way…
So, we were talking about the unreached, and we tried to elaborate on those that are unreached, but Paul said something about where the name of Jesus has never been heard, but before he got there, he laid emphasis on whosoever would call on the name of Jesus shall be saved…
If you read down, he explained that it's only a person who knows the name that will call on the name…
Long story cut short, right there the Holy Spirit pointed me to something…
My colleagues will be reading this…
I gave my life to Christ at gun point, and trust me, the process that took me there wasn't funny…
The informant, who was also part of that cult group was my classmate, and after that incident, for years we've not been talking…
However, last year, we kind of revived the old student's association of that school, and our set in particular…
For each time, we went for a get-together, and I see him, I'd always feel awful...
Worst is when he tries to fraternize with me like nothing happened…
As a person, I couldn't afford to make it obvious that I don't like him, but I just had to keep him at arms length…
This continued in all of our meetings, until just last month he died…
God bless his soul…
I was informed as the VP of the alumni to attend the condolence visit, I turned it down. (Though I was actually busy)…
On his burial day, I didn't attend, but on seeing the pictures, I discovered he was buried by his people…
So, while teaching on Sunday, the Holy Spirit asked me, “Don't you think he would've been saved if you told him about Jesus?”
I began to make excuses…
He asked again, “Being that his death was sudden, don't you think if you had told him about Jesus, he would've called on me and be saved?”
At this point, I knew there was wahala, but I was still making excuses for what he did, and I even called it wisdom…
He said, "if you had told him about me, coming from you that he did hurt, don't you think he would've been more receptive knowing that you're talking to him from the place of forgiveness?”
Sincerely, after I struggled to finish the class, I wasn't myself until the end of service…
The unreached are not really far from you, but that person who doesn't know or even believe in the name of Jesus…
That person who doesn't know God too well to know what they should do…
Or that person who doesn't even believe that the name of Jesus can save anyone…
That person who feels he is on the right path, when actually they're heading towards damnation…
Please try and reach the unreached as time is of essence...
I wish I had put my differences aside, maybe he would've died knowing the name of the Lord…
May God help us in Jesus name, Amennn
