Joy isnโt the reward for having everything figured out.
Itโs a choice. A few months ago, I thought I would only be happy when life finally looked the way I imagined. When business was doing well. When every bill was paid.
When opportunities came easily.
When prayers became testimonies.
But today, God reminded me of something Iโll carry with me for the rest of my life. Even in difficult
seasons, I can still choose joy.
Not because everything is perfect.
But because before I ever whispered the prayerโฆ He already knew what I needed. That truth changed something in me.
It reminded me that my peace doesnโt have to depend on my bank account. My smile doesnโt have to wait for good news. And my hope doesnโt have to disappear because today feels uncertain. Iโm learning to trust that if God has brought me this far, He wonโt suddenly stop writing my story now.
So today, I laughed. I enjoyed the little moments. I spent time with someone I love. And for a while, I wasnโt thinking about everything that still needs to work out.
Because life is happening now.
And I donโt want to miss todayโs blessings while waiting for tomorrowโs miracles. If youโre in a season where things feel heavyโฆ
I pray you remember this too: Before you ask, God already knows.
He sees the tears nobody else sees. He knows the prayers youโve stopped talking about. He hasnโt forgotten you. And neither has He forgotten your story.
So Iโll keep showing up. Iโll keep working. Iโll keep praying. But most importantlyโฆ Iโll keep choosing joy.
Because my circumstances may change from season to seasonโฆ
But Godโs faithfulness never does.
Whatโs one thing God reminded you of this week?
