May I ask you about your opinion on community tokens like the BEER token?

When community tokens first came out I supported the different communities by buying their tokens and staking them. I even bought into a few of the community miners to support the communities. This has resulted in my account receiving new tokens every day.

The accumulation of tokens causes a new problem. Do I sell the tokens for STEEM? Or do I use the tokens within the token economy?

Selling the tokens for STEEM just depresses the price of the tokens for other community members. So at first I sold the tokens to buy the community miner in that token. This keeps the tokens within the community and supports the community. But the result is more tokens.

I noticed that several bidbots use community tokens. Hmmm, this creates a token economy (i.e., a use case for the tokens). At least that is what I think it does. I can use the community tokens to reward posts and thus authors and curators. It is a lot easier than distributing tokens to individual accounts.

What are your thoughts on this topic?

Thanks in advance!
Mike
