Hello guys
It's #marketfriday again, thanks to @dswigle for this great initiative. I am super excited to be sharing another amazing market/shopping experience today.
One thing I do not care so much about these days are what I wear on my legs. i am the comfy kind of lady, with a good slippers or scandal on and I am good to go.
I remember when in school my roommate would get so pissed at me for wearing an amazing outfit, great hair, and makeup and I end up ruining everything because of what I had on my leg, either a scandal or slipper.
The last time I remember getting new shoes was on my wedding day, which is almost two years ago.
My pregnancy was another excuse not to even bother about getting New shoes, the same slippers and scandal everyone was against me always wearing became my go-to footwear, I even insist on some occasions to putting on small heels just to see everyone's reaction, because a lot of women still rock their heels even in pregnancy but they laughed at my request because that wasn't me even if I try.

Well ,I had to go shoe shopping.
Do you know our foot size can change due to pregnancy and weight gain?
I thought it was a joke till I tried on my wedding shoes and they are already so tight and small. The shoes I got just a year ago even the scandals I wear often had become so small and I could no longer fit into it.
I have tried ordering some shoes online before and it has always ended in a disaster, most shoes are never what they seem in pictures, and because of my new shoe sizes, I always had to return because I wasn't sure what size to get.
I finally visited a shoe shop here in Lagos mainland, ojodu Berger to be precise just in case anyone is familiar with the environment.

The owner of the shop is family, and she has been asking for quite a while that I stop by so this was the best opportunity to shop for some shoes and see her too.
She has beautiful shoes even bags and jewelry but I was on a budget and decided to stick to the shoes.
For a minute I became shoe-obsessed, I tried as many as possible to see the fits and determine my new leg size. I realized I am now wearing a size 42. I was a size 39/40 before I got married, now I added two extra inches.
Please did anyone experience the change in foot size too??
It was a nice day, I realized I do not really hate heels, I just didn't find the best fit or understood my options. But even after all the shoe lectures trust me to end up buying more scandals馃槀, at least this time one of them comes to a tiny heel, that progress.

I got 2 pairs of shoe worth about $30 with lot of family and friends discount. Trust me it looks cuter on me than it looks on picture. It was a good buy that is why I rocked one of the back home.
