I love the prompt for this week's weekend engagement, something sweet and personal. It gave me the opportunity to go through my gallery again, delete some unwanted pictures and relive the memory of others. It was so hard to pick one picture but finally, I think I found the one
My Favourite moment with nature...
This picture is date stamped 28/March/ 2022 @6.29pm in my father's compound when I went visiting. I remember the day w I took this picture, I just finished over 3 mangoes and this should be my fourth if not more And my husband called But I had my mouth full enjoying my juicy mango that he couldn't hear me speak clearly. I wasn't even paying attention because I was in awe of what I had in my hands.
I politely hung up the phone and sent him these pictures saying I was having a date with nature馃槀 featuring this amazing-looking mango I got from the tree I planted when I was a teenager.
I couldn't get over this particular species of mango, it was so sweet and yummy, I had them every day for the days I stayed with my parent.
It wasn't my fault, The fruit Kept on falling and falling from the trees and I just didn't want them to get worse and go to waste, so the best I could do was to eat them or make them into smoothies for the family, even if I always had to end up in the loo. It was worth it.
my tongue is bursting out with the flavor just thinking about it. I haven't enjoyed the mango season the way I enjoyed this year's mango.
I wonder what this species of mango is called?? because I know when I got back home I barely saw it here in Lagos where I reside, the ones I saw were never as green, creamy, and juicy as this.
Since I couldn't find it here, I told my dad to give me a call whenever the mangos are all matured and falling, I wouldn't mind flying over to get a taste or request for them to be sent over to me.
So yeah, this is my favorite moment with nature so far.
