So today I decided to start my day with black tea instead of coffee which I usually take every morning to keep me active throughout the day. Today will be a half day for me at work, so why not I try black tea?
Black tea is one of the most consumed beverages in the world aside from water. Black tea is made from the Camellia sinensis plant, also known as small shrub tree. The process of making black tea is quite simple which involves; picking of tea leaves, bruising, rolling and oxidation.
Black tea with fruit or spice flavors are made when the tea leaves are crushed with the flavors. There are lots of black tea brands in the world but we all have the brands we prefer more. For me, I prefer the Ahmad Tea brand. I was introduced to this particular brand by my Sister and since then it has been my favorite. This brand cannot be easily found in the local market or road side, except in the supermarket or shopping malls and online stores. I usually get my supplies from the supermarket and sometimes Jumia, an online store. That is the tea below with the process of how I made it and how I love to take it.
I love this black tea because of the strawberry flavor which is my favorite fruit and the taste is just magical for me. The taste is strong and when one takes it you can actually taste the strawberry flavor in it which is strong with a little of the tartness. The taste doesn't make me bother about adding sweetener or sugar to my tea because the strawberry flavor had already watered down the bitter taste of the black tea. Ahmad tea has lots of flavors like; jasmine romance, strawberry sensation, strawberry wild, earl grey, lemon and lime twist, mango magic, vanilla tranquility, cinnamon haze, and so many others that I can't mention here since I have not had the opportunity to try them out.
Black tea is not only meant for drinking but also for other purposes. I use it for my hair, for my face mask and also for my body. For my hair, it helps to maintain my natural hair color and also to give it a healthy and shiny look. For my skin helps even out the tone, reduces wrinkles and also brightens.
