Today I want to share another simple creative stationery tutorial with you.

This time, I'll show you how to make a tag using a die-cutter, from the basic shape to the final decoration.

I chose to decorate it with daisies because I wanted something simple and delicate that would go well with some short phrases. But the nice thing about this kind of project is that, once you learn how to make the base, you can take it in any direction you want: change the paper, the colors, the flowers, and the phrases, and make it completely your own.

In the video, I also show you the die-cutting machine I use and the different sizes it can make. Then we make the daisies, assemble them, add the center, and finish by adding those little phrases that, for me, give the tag a whole new meaning.

I’m making these for a project I’m currently working on, but they’re perfect for a happy mail, a gift, a journal, to accompany a card, or simply to leave a nice little message for someone.

And one thing I like about this tutorial is that later on I also want to show you how to make a tag without a die-cutting machine, because I don’t want the lack of a tool to stop us from creating.

So this would be our first approach: with a die-cutting machine.

As always, I hope you’ll give it a try. And if you have any questions about the process, leave them in the comments and we’ll be happy to go over them.

Let’s keep learning, experimenting, and finding new ways to create with paper.

A huge hug.
Hope
