The more I look at the word "calm" the less I understand what is required to acquire that "peace of mind"
Speaking from a recent event from my life, two days ago I left home, lodged in a hotel just so I can get a little time away from the number of companies that seemed to have placed so much stress on me.
First day in this place away from home, I felt relaxed from starting, but at some point, I came to understand that peace of mind and freedom from worries don't really come from escaping home, the ability to remain calm in an environment which seems to be invading your mental space is quite the definition here.
We don't acquire calmness by running from responsibilities and certain companies, Equanimity defines that ability to stay in that mess but remain composed better.
