This section is a part of the Splinterlands DEC Guide. In this post, we are going to see how much splinterlands player can earn DEC.
DEC (Dark energy crystals) are in-game currency that player earns from battles and through other rewards mechanism. You can read more about Earning DEC in Splinterlands.
Before we can find out how much DEC a player can earn we have to consider the variables that are affecting the DEC earning rate of the player. So the below are some of the factors that affect the earned DEC in the game.
So let's discuss each of these possible variables that contribute to the DEC earning of the player per day.
Every player starts with the Novice league with initial rank allotted and then they climb up in the rank. Here the matchmaking also applies to the Ranked Match. This affects the match reward. Your earnings are immediately reflected in the match rewards.
Your DEC earning also gets affected by the league. You have following leagues in the splinterlands. Novice, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond and Champion. Your rank in each league would demote or elevate into next league. Your opponents in each league being different, you may not win every match. And that is because higher leagues are harder to win into and earn DEC rewards.
Think of this like your resource credits in the blockchain. You have ECR value depleting as you play each match. It takes 24 hours to get ECR back to the value depending on how much it is depleted. ECR value is very much important in order to find out how many matches you can play and earn rewards out of.
Many quest rewards rewards will be reflected on how many matches you have won. Like say you win 3 matches in the game in a day. Your DEC earning also improves through rewards if you get rewarded based on the consistent wins.
Quest rewards often have the card specific battles that you can play. It would earn you rewards accordingly. Quest rewards reset once the timer resets. And your quest rewards progress in turn shows how much you have earned and how much earning is possible through quests.
You earn loot chests rewards too. And that would also contribute to your daily DEC earnings. How much you earn loot chests in the game would vary. And that number may fluctuate for each player.
Each day ECR limits on how much you can play in the game. And in turn how much matches you win would also be reflecting on the DEC amount earned. And amount of DEC earned then becomes indicative of the matches you are able to play. Again considering win rate and winning probability makes this number variable.
Let's get back to the fact that a lot of unknown variables affect the DEC earning rate. Take example of who you are matched up against in the match. How they play. And if you can win against higher ranked and league players. These variables are often beyond the control of players unless they have strong cards and the strategy to navigate in the leaderboard.
Let's assume the player is in Novice league and low rank. So his cards and the ECR per day would be limiting him from moving faster. So if we consider the above listed variables you can say that player can earn anything from 0 to 200 DEC per day.
In another case, if the user is in mid to higher level leagues. You may find their win rate if higher with strong cards and higher ranks, they can earn from 3000-5000 DEC per day.
You can make use of the Tools like this to get the idea of performance of Splinterlands account. Each season this value would vary based on number of matches played, ECR and other variables.
In conclusion, DEC earning value earned per day varies per player, per rank, league and other variables.
