Our last night in Stockholm, the only true way to capture night in city is black and white. I do love the play of neon signs, but I have serious problem with yellow lights so I just demolish the problem by turning yellowish photos into black and white. Of course there is also that I adore the moodiness of a little grained black and white photos.
There is like a little feeling of halcyon days in them, some nostalgia I can’t get past on. Like I could time travel into 1920’s and smell the burning cigarette and perfume in the cold air. Ah, the days of heirloom foxes and manly men. End of day dreaming…
Stockholm is really beautiful city if you haven’t yet visited, you totally should. We wandered around almost empty city and hunted sunset a little. We tried to even get in nice balcony to take photos but apparently guards of royal family thought otherwise. Sorry! Didn’t wanna disturb! Damn those guards are really serious guys.
It is now a day as I got home from my trip. I took care some business in Helsinki and if everything runs smoothly there is going to be some big changes coming up. I hope I have collected enough that precious good karma so things would turn out nicely. There’s been so much going on that I haven’t had time to even suffer from my legendary holiday/travel hangover! This is a new one. Did I really dodge the bullet this time?
That would be nice change to not hate life 2weeks after traveling. Long story short. I got some phone call in middle of midsummer and that could be turning point I’ve been waiting and hoping! Enough about that for now, in mean time, enjoy some black and white realness of Stockholm Sweden!
Royal family pet is pretty possessiveness... I'll dare you to take that ball away..
Excuse me Mister, is the royal family at home? Can Vickan and Madde come out and play?
