According to this announcement, DEC based upvoting of your #splinterlands / #steemmonsters related posts is now live and possible.

You will need some DEC, of course, along with Steem Engine or Steem Keychain.

First, transfer at least 100 DEC from the Steemmonsters site to your Steem Engine wallet.

Next, use your favourite tool to transfer these (at least) 100 DEC to @splinterlands Steem Engine account.

Use memo field and put in the URL of the post to upvote

Like this with the help of Steem Keychain:

Limits

I am not certain about the limitations of the upvote process.

Here are the ones that I can think of:

1. post has to have #steemmonsters tag, it is possible that #splinterlands tag is working too
2. post has to be at least 20 minutes and not more than four days old
3. you have to send at least 100 DEC, I don't know about the upper limit

Anything else you can think of?

Transfer of 100 DEC to @splinterlands S-E account was successful. What about the upvote?

I guess the bid bot is doing rounds of upvoting and recuperating.

WIll you do the math? 100 DEC for 75% of $0.142 which is ... $0.1065 gives $0.001065 per DEC.

Current DEC price at the exchange is $0.00114. Slightly more than with the upvote.

It was better with the discord based upvoting!
